Round 4 – Canada, (Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve)

CPI secured their second consecutive victory in the fourth round of the Velocity Ultimate Masters Team Racing League after a complete takeover by CPI_Leo2rN-27 (CPI).

As the drivers took to the track for qualifying, LRN_Monkiemen (League Racing Nederland Esports) secured the pole position by a little more than a tenth from CPI_Leo2rN-27 (CPI) even though he was first throughout the session. 

At the start of the race, CPI_Leo2rN-27 (CPI) swiftly seized control and took the lead after a few corners. The racing did not even last a whole lap without an incident deploying the safety car for a mere two laps. Another safety car intervention, this time in the tenth lap, forced drivers to make strategic decisions, rushing into the pits for tyre changes. Amidst the chaos, the midfield emerged as a battleground of some great racing. In the final 5 laps, the rain started to fall, and drivers had no option but to pit for intermediate tyres. In the end, CPI_Leo2rN-27 won the race with Justas_12 (Relentless) in second, keeping a 100% podium appearance for Relentless, and ASE_ImPact_ (ASAC), giving ASAC their first-ever podium, in third. 

NLR_Felixone (NLR Development) took the extra point for the fastest lap of the race.
