The Asphalt Kings Championship concluded with the eighth and final round taking place in Mount Panorama, Australia. In the battle to become champion, Jake Sammut began the session in the best possible way by taking pole position. However, he was ultimately unable to convert it into the title, as it was Daniel Vella who went on to win the race itself, and in the process take the Asphalt Kings crown while Sammut had to settle for being the runner-up, both in the race itself as he finished 6 seconds behind and also in the Championship. As a result, Vella and Sammut go into the last race of the Championship level on points, with each driver currently on 129, with the final race to be held in Mount Panorama, Australia on Monday 9th September to thus end the Asphalt Kings Championship.
Velocity Esports Racing would like to issue its congratulations to Vella on winning the title!
