Velocity Esports Racing is dedicated to providing players with the best racing experience, and the Alfa Romeo Cup is no exception. The championship will consist of a 15-minute qualifying session followed by a 30-minute race. The first event of the Alfa Romeo Cup will take place on January 26th, 2023, around the unique layout of the fictional track set in Italy, Lago Maggiore (East). For this race, participants will be using the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm ’20. The second and final race is scheduled for February 2nd, 2023, around the high-speed historic track of Monza using the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.3. Both tracks will provide players with a different set of challenges, making the Alfa Romeo Cup a true test of skill and strategy. This championship is open to all players in Malta, and it’s a great chance for them to compete against the best drivers in the country and show off their skills to a wider audience.

The Alfa Romeo Cup will be broadcasted live on the Velocity Esports Racing Facebook and YouTube page, allowing fans and spectators to follow the action and support their favourite drivers.

One of the local exhibitors at the event was Velocity Esports Racing, which was their first time at an expo. They showcased their racing simulators, allowing visitors to experience the thrill of virtual racing. Visitors had the opportunity to take part in a time trial competition on the F1 22 game around the Canadian Grand Prix track, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, and get guided by current V1 Malta Series drivers and two-time national champion Jake Sammut. This was a great opportunity for visitors to meet and interact with professional drivers and get a taste of the competitive esports scene.

The expo also featured keynote speeches from industry leaders, panel discussions, and workshops on various topics related to game development and esports. The event provided a platform for industry professionals to network and share knowledge and ideas, as well as for visitors to learn more about the industry and explore the latest trends and developments in the field.
