Velocity Esports Racing is set to make a thrilling return to this year’s Playcon, Malta’s largest game development and esports expo. From November 30th to December 3rd, 2023, the MFCC Ta’ Qali will be transformed into a gaming and esports enthusiast’s paradise.

In an innovative partnership with Hyundai, Velocity Esports Racing is leading the first-ever esports rally event in Malta. The N Rally Challenge will see participants compete in the new EA Sports WRC video game for an ultimate prize. 

The competition is structured into three pivotal stages: First Round, Semi-Finals, and Finals; each designed to test the skill, precision, and endurance of the participating drivers around some of the official WRC stages. In the First Round, all 32 drivers will navigate through three short but intense stages: Ancelle (Monaco), Eksharad (Sweden), and Nenoue Highlands (Japan). This initial gauntlet will separate the contenders from the rest, as only the fastest eight will advance to the next round. As the tension escalates, the Semi-Finals will see the remaining drivers tackle the 20.2 km-long Kenyan rally stage, Mbaruk. The fastest four will advance to the Finals where they will compete in the longest stage of the game found in the Chilean rally: the formidable 34.8 km-long Pulperia.
