V1 MALTA SERIES : ROUND 10 – CANADA

Jake Sammut (McLaren) and Anthony Calabrese (McLaren) were crowned Constructors Champions with a total of 259 points combined, 73 points clear of Haas.

Brandon Bonello (Mercedes) qualified first and ultimately ended up winning the race after Jake Sammut (McLaren), who was leading the race, was given a three second time penalty in the last lap for a track limit violation. After an early safety car, we could see a lot of strategy changes from some drivers which completely changed the race. Jake Sammut (McLaren) was one of the early drivers to pit. By using a different strategy, compared to the rest of the grid, he was able to blitz past the entire field. Thanks to this, he was awarded the Driver of the Day Award and the fastest lap. Matthias Farrugia (AlphaTauri) had also an amazing race after finishing fourth after starting from eight.
