V1 MALTA SERIES: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR SEASON 6

V1 Malta Series Season 6: Teams & Tracks Reveals

Velocity Esports Racing will be presenting the V1 Malta Series Season 6 starting on Monday 2nd October. Anticipation has been building all around between all the drivers to know where we will be racing and who they will be pairing with. Below is a full rundown of all the teams, in order of last season’s Constructor’s Championship result, and tracks that complete this year’s V1 Malta Series Main Championship.

⦁ Williams will be represented by Keith Muscat and Ryan Carabott. Muscat is well known for his consistency while Carabott is a 2x champion and will surely be looking to make it a 3rd.

⦁ Ferrari will have last season’s Constructor’s Champions Brandon Bonello and Osbert Xuereb representing them. The defending champions, who last year drove for Williams, will drive together for another season giving us the opportunity to witness some more incredible teamwork, on and off the track, hoping to defend their title and maybe win a Driver’s Championship.

⦁ Alfa Romeo will look to follow last season’s successful 3rd place finish and build on that with last season’s Champion, Adrian Manduca, and Ephrom Tabone. Manduca will surely defend the title to make it two in a row and try to win the team a Constructor’s Championship with Tabone who is a multiple points scorer in the previous seasons.

⦁ Aston Martin will be represented by Kerstin Curmi and Steve Axisa. Whilst they have already proven their skills and teamwork as the Tier 2 Constructor’s Champions, therefore it’s great to see them continue their journey in the Main Championship. Their experience and charisma will undoubtedly make them a formidable presence both on and off the track.

⦁ AlphaTauri will be represented by Daryl Pace and Emerson Zarb. Pace is a returning driver which we know that he will be a force to be reckoned with and Zarb is one of the most determined drivers on the grid and will surely be looking for more points finishes.

⦁ Mercedes will be represented by Andrea Borg and Matthew Cassar. After having an unlucky season, Borg will try to show his true potential together with Cassar. Cassar dominated the field in the Qualifiers and will surely be a one to watch.

⦁ Red Bull look to overhaul this season’s driver pairing with two young guns, Daniel Cini and last season’s Tier 2 Champion, Ayrton Birmingham, both eager to impress. Even though they are the youngest drivers, they are still two of the fastest drivers in the Main Championship as these hot prospects showed their incredibly fast pace in multiple occasions.

⦁ Haas will have Thomas Elder and Marco Woods as their driving pairing this season. Elder, who emerged as a dark horse last season after gaining promotion following his Tier 2 Championship win in Season 4, will be teaming up with Woods who looks to gain more consistent points finishes in the Main Championship.

⦁ Alpine will see last season’s third place finisher, Matthias Farrugia, and Bradlee Abela drive together. Farrugia who is reckoned to be a championship contender this year following his success in last season’s championship and the Velocity Ultimate Masters Season 2. Abela will be looking to continue improving his skills upon partnering with such a great prospect.

⦁ McLaren will be represented by Alpha Tauri’s last season’s driver pairing Christian Sammut and Karl Magro. These two drivers worked very well in the last season and look forward to continuing strengthening their bond as this season commences. Sammut appeared to be a solid “best of the rest” driver and will surely try to go for more whilst helping Magro continues to grind towards more Top 10 finishes.
