ASPHALT KINGS ROUND 4: VELLA WINS AGAIN TO STRENGTHEN CHAMPIONSHIP LEAD

The Asphalt Kings Championship continued last week with a race held at the Dragon Trail track, and it was Daniel Vella who yet again prevailed to record his 3rd consecutive victory, having once again started from pole position. Vella was utterly dominant in this race, and won by a margin of 12 seconds over Jake Sammut who took second place after a tight battle with Denzil Agius, who completed the podium places.

Following this race, Vella extended his lead at the top of the Championship over Sammut to 15 points – with Vella and Sammut currently on 79 and 64 points respectively, while Ilan Dimech Ghirxi stands in 3rd place on 57 points with 4 races remaining.
The next race will take place on Monday 19th August at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
