The 2024 Asphalt King Championship got under way last Monday, and it was Ilan Dimech Ghirxi who took victory in the opening round, held in Interlagos. The podium was then completed by George Pace and Clint Orland.

Dimech Ghirxi took pole position with a lap time of 1:30.657, and ultimately converted his pole position into a comfortable victory of 6 seconds over Pace, with Orland completing the podium in what was a tight battle between him, Jonathan Spiteri and Jake Sammut. Dimech Ghirxi also took the fastest lap of the race, setting a time of 1:31.138. The next race of the Asphalt Kings Championship will take place on Monday 22nd July at Watkins Glen.
