The V1 Malta Series continued last Monday with the penultimate race taking place in Las Vegas, and it was Alexander Galea who hit the jackpot by taking the race victory, with Daniel Cini taking second in the race and Andrea Borg completing the podium. Now, in the Championship standings, Galea is level on points with Cini going into the final race – with Cini leading the standings by virtue of having taken three second-placed finishes to Galea’s two. Therefore, in the event that neither driver scores points, Cini would prevail as the champion given the countback system.

The final race of the V1 Malta Series will take place in Abu Dhabi on Monday 2nd December which will undoubtedly be a thrilling finale to determine the destiny of the Championship.
