Round 1 – Austria, (Red Bull Ring)

The V1 Malta series continued with the second race held on Monday in Imola, and it was Daniel Cini who yet again emerged victorious, having begun on pole and converted it into a race victory, while also setting the fastest lap of the race to thus complete the hat-trick (pole position, the race win while setting the fastest lap of the race). Meanwhile, Andrea Borg took his second podium of the season, after he finished in third place, with Francesco Mifsud sandwiching the two drivers to take second place.

The next race of the V1 Malta Series will take place in Monza on Monday 7th October in what will undoubtedly be another thrilling race.
