Round 1 – Austria, (Red Bull Ring)

The V1 Malta Series finally got underway last Monday with the opening race held at the Red Bull Ring, and it was Daniel Cini who ultimately inherited the win after Andrea Borg, who crossed the line at the end of the race in first place, but was handed a post-race penalty by the stewards following an infringement with respect to the pit entry after what turned out to be an entertaining race. Therefore, ultimately, it was a pole position and victory double for Daniel Cini. David Mifsud completed the podium by taking third place.

The next race of the V1 Malta Series will take place in Imola on Monday 30th September in what will undoubtedly be another thrilling race.
