The Asphalt Kings continued with the penultimate round taking place at Fuji International Raceway, and it was Daniel Vella who won out with less than a second covering him and Sammut in the battle for the race win, while Sammut took pole position and the fastest lap of the race. Jonathan Spiteri completed the podium places as he took third ahead of George Pace.

As a result, Vella and Sammut go into the last race of the Championship level on points, with each driver currently on 129, with the final race to be held in Mount Panorama, Australia on Monday 9th September to thus end the Asphalt Kings Championship.
